| Macau has become a tourist centre in Pan Pearl Delta since the central government implemented easier traveling procedure to the citizens and Macau changed the gaming policies. Every year, there are more than 20 million visitors to Macau, which is almost the same as that to Hong Kong. Furthermore, the spending power by the tourists in 2005 has reached to MOP28 billion. Macau is considered to be an entertainment centre for not only the Hong Kong and South East Asian people, but largely for the mainlanders in Pan Pearl Delta. Any advertisement in Macau may substantially influence the images of products and services both in Hong Kong and in the mainland. |
